26 Dub On-Arrival Training & Turkish Night
EVS volunteers receive different trainings during their project: on-arrival training, midterm training and final evaluation. The main objective of the on-arrival training is to introduce the volunteers to the host country, preparing them for the service period and the EVS experience.
From 1st to 6th of April we attended our on-arrival training. Even though we are in Slany already for 3 months, it was a good way to meet some new people. It gave us chance to get to know other volunteers and to build a nice network. The thing I liked most about on-arrival training was to know how other EVS projects can look like in the Czech Republic. After all I am so happy to have such great friends.
We had Turkish Night on 26th March. We cooked lots of delicious Turkish foods and I made a presentation about Turkey. It was amazing, we hosted our guests with traditional Turkish hospitality in ICM 🙂
