I totally understand why Turkish people love Berlin, especially the ones from Istanbul…

I have a crazy idea! First, let me tell you… Water divided Istanbul into two sections of continents, Asia and Europe. Billions of people are traveling from one continent to other every day. Well, I used to be one of them. In some point it is an unique experience; for some travelers it is a kind of exhausting trip along with traffic congestion. But the point is traffic isn’t the main reason that makes us tired. A traveler who is really into geosciences once told me, “Geography is always determinant. A huge Bosphorus is passing through Istanbul… I believe there is a magical connection between land forms and people’s feelings. Istanbul is way too excited all the time because of its location!” And Berlin used to have the wall! As you know, it was a barrier that divided the city to East and West parts. The human-made wall was there for 28 years and made people cut each other off. Well, maybe that’s the reason they call Berlin like “Second Turkish capital outside Turkey”.

Last month I was in Berlin with my Turkish friends again (And It won’t be the last one :p). Last week I have travelled to Belgium as well. I visited Brussels, Brugge and Ghent; I would say it was the strangest trip I have so far… I met lots of different people all around the world. From Mexico City to Amsterdam, Manhattan to Montreal, and Santiago to Chicago… It was awesome 🙂

My next route will be Wien!!
And You… Don’t be lazy, for example Berlin and Wien are so close to Prague. Just pack your back and explore Europe; you are in the middle of everything, please enjoy it!

Quite of the week
