Czech government has been alerted by the Council of Europe’s European Commission against Racism and Intolerance (ECRI) to put an end to segregation of Roma children in Czech schools. The commission’s report also underlines that Muslims and migrants are now the first target of racism and urges the government to also focus on identifying discriminations towards the LGBTI community.

Prague City Court has upheld a sentenced against two German tourists who tagged a Charles Bridge stone support in July 2019. The two brothers were sentenced to pay a 100,000 CZK fine each (app 3800 eur) plus the cleaning costs and were banned from entering Czech Republic for 5 years.
